I am currently running the i-INK from IR on the r3000.ġ. with such system, just ensure that you do not want to place bottle higher than your print had several CIS systems over the years for different Epson printers (r1280, r2400, r3000). If you are going to use your own K3 inks with it, at least I can guarantee that there is no problem on the CIS system itself.Ģ50ml reservoirs should be O.K. Just for your information, I am using Inkrepublic R3000 i-INK CIS and inks for about a year, no clogs, streaks, splotches, it works really nice. Matt prints are superb.īoth companies should have good quality of inks and systems. The inks do have a slight bronzing effect on glossy paper, although on pearl it is not obviously noticeable. Both my monitor and printer have been profiled with CM and the prints are extremely good. Even after leaving my printer unused for quite a while I have had no blockage of the printhead. Marrutt inks are good and close to the oem originals and are the same inks as the 3000. The cartridges supplied for refill are adequate and the chip swap is easy. I would like to turn my R3000 into a serious print production beast so any help and advice would be most appreciated. This suction system for the i-INK with dampers seems intriguing but this idea of having to adjust the height of the reservoirs in relation to the print head as the levels go down seems a bit cumbersome to me. I like that the Marutt has 250ml reservoirs while the i-INK only has 100ml reservoirs. It is feedback on the actual systems that I am looking for.ģ: Ease of use - refilling, day to day quirks if any I am not so concerned about the actual inks they provide since I have my own reputable USA made K3 inks. I guess what I am looking for is the most trouble free and reliable system. I know there are many systems out there so if you have reason to suggest any others please feel free to do so. While I can find quite a few actual systems the 2 that stand out to me so far are:ġ: Marutt: Epson Stylus Photo R3000 Continuous Ink SystemĢ: InkRepublic: InkRepublic R3000 i-INK Continuous Ink System I am looking to get a CIS for my Epson R3000 and while attempting to do my due diligence cannot seem to find any solid reviews / real world usage on the CIS systems out there for it.
